Ceramic plungers work exceptionally well for most saltwater, chemical, metering, pharmaceutical, descaling and offshore applications. When corrosion and abrasion resistance are required and extended packing life is needed, ceramic plungers are unmatched in performance.
Our ceramic plungers are available in the hollow ceramic design, as well as the solid ceramic design.
We also offer plunger assemblies in which we bond the ceramic body to the stainless steel adapter for extremely reliable performance in the field.
We offer plungers for high pressure applications with Ra values 0.03 or better in Zirconia , 0.06 or better in ZTA and 0.10 or better in Alumina.
The surface finish of the plunger defines its use life i.e lower the Ra value the higher the life of the plunger and its packing.
